GDS exhibited at the recent XVI ECSMGE conference in Edinburgh, where over 1,000 delegates attended the conference “Geotechnical Engineering for Infrastructure and Development”. GDS were showcasing their ever popular Electromechanical Dynamic Cyclic Simple Shear Device alongside some advanced transducers.
Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to enter our competition to win an iPad mini which, was eventually won by Wilfried Huels from GUB Ingenieur AG as shown in the image above. During the conference Dr Sean Rees, GDS’ Geotechnical Specialist, gave a presentation on "Adaptive Control Implementation for the Dynamic Cyclic Testing of Soil Specimens". We would like to thank all those who visited the stand and to the organisers for making it such a good conference.
