GDS Instruments sponsored and exhibited at the recent BGA Wave propagation and soil stiffness workshop at Bristol University.
The two day event was well attended and attracted speakers from all around the world. The first day was an experimental session including both academic and practical discussions. Following an evening banquet dinner, the second day primarily focused on numerical modelling of wave propagation and granular materials. The two day workshop concluded with a tour of the Universities laboratory, which included viewing their cubical apparatus, hollow cylinder apparatus and impressive shake table.
