Clayton Dodd (Sales Director) and Piotr Dera (Geotechnical Systems Team Lead) from GDS Instruments spent several days in March, travelling around Taiwan visiting some of their leading universities, National Chung Hsing University, National Taiwan University and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
During their visits, they provided refresher training to students on various apparatus, answered any questions on system use, as well as checking overall systems performance. During the visit to the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Piotr managed to recommission a set of local strain transducer from 2011, and provide some training for the upcoming delivery of some additional enhancements to the system.
