GDS Instruments exhibited at the ‘Prague Geotechnical Days 2014’ conference last week. The seminar focused on unsaturated soils in engineering practice, an area GDS has vast experience in.
The keynote presentation was delivered by Prof Malcolm Bolton, University of Cambridge, UK, in which performance-based design in geotechnical engineering was discussed. The conference was well attended, and delegates enjoyed a busy programme with speakers from all over Europe.
