GDS engineers Dr Sean Rees and Nick Warren exhibited and attended the Annual BGA Conference at the ICE in London earlier this month.

GDS have launched adaptive control as standard on selected new dynamic testing apparatuses.

GeoShanghai is an international conference on geotechnical engineering held in Shanghai once every four years. The conference focuses on recent advances in Soil Behaviour, Geomechanics, Rock Mechanics and its applications.

GDS Instruments exhibited at the ‘Prague Geotechnical Days 2014’ conference last week. The seminar focused on unsaturated soils in engineering practice, an area GDS has vast experience in.

March 2014, one of GDS’ agents contact the sales team asking if their customers' 20+ year old advanced controller could be re-commissioned? The controller was in use up until a few years earlier. However, since its last project the controller had been left on the shelf.

GDS have expanded their design team following the arrival of Anthony de Courcy. Anthony is a Mechanical Design Engineer with a degree in Product Design, specialising in structural mechanics, technical drawing and manufacture, with a focus in design for manufacture.

GDS sells 50th Resonant Column System (RCA). GDS' first RCA sale dates back to 2006, since then systems have been shipped to research and commercial customers all around the world.

GDS Instruments sponsored and exhibited at the recent BGA Wave propagation and soil stiffness workshop at Bristol University.

Last week saw GDS Instruments exhibit alongside their UAE & Qatar agents Sigma Enterprises. A GDS Triaxial Automated System was one of several products showcased on the stand.

GDS today published its 3rd of 3 papers on Triaxial Testing. This paper presents the dynamic cyclic triaxial testing of soils in the laboratory.
