The special
products group of GDS are currently designing the following
products to customer specifications:
High pressure, low temperature Resonant
Column Apparatus (RCA). The GDS RCA
is designed to work between 0 and 25MPa and from room temperature
down to -20° C. The apparatus will be capable of both torsional and
bending tests.
High pressure consolidation cell. To
maintain the low cost of this item this cell is designed to work
with a standard load frame (either GDS, WFI or ELE). The cell
applies simple uniaxial strains up to 100% (theoretical). Back
pressures can be controlled up to 20MPa using a GDS controller.
