The National Congress of Geotechnics is the main event promoted by the SPG. Its main objective is to foster the technical and scientific debate between the geotechnical community and to provide an exchange of knowledge among professionals related to research, teaching, design, construction, maintenance and exploitation of works in the area of Geotechnics.

EUROCK 2018 is an International European Symposium, which is being held in Russia for the first time with the support of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) and on the basis of the St. Petersburg Mining University. The subject of the symposium “Geomechanics and Geodynamics of Rock Masses” covers all high-tech solutions and advanced engineering developments in the field of geomechanics from theory to application in practice.

The Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics Technical Committee of the Geo-Institute (G-I) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is organizing the 5th conference on Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics, which will be held June 10–13, 2018 in Austin, TX. The conference will bring together practicing geoprofessionals, researchers, and students from around the world to share the latest advances, engineering applications, and pedagogical approaches in this discipline.

The American Rock Mechanics Association is holding its 52nd US Rock Mechanics / Geomechanics Symposium in Seattle, Washington. The symposium program will focus on new and exciting advances in all areas of rock mechanics and geomechanics.

GeoShanghai is a series international conference on geotechnical engineering held in Shanghai once every four years. The conference was inaugurated in 2006 and was successfully held again in 2010 and 2014, with more than 1200 participants in total. Since the last conference, the geotechnical communities have witnessed many advances both in fundamental understandings and in engineering practices. To showcase the latest developments and promote collaborations in geotechnical engineering and related topics,

The purpose of the Conference is to provide the perfect platform to present and discuss the recent progress in Earthquake Engineering along with priority issues of global importance in seismic risk reduction, preparedness and management.
