High Pressure Environmental Triaxial System (HPETAS) The high pressure environmental triaxial system (HPETAS) cell can be fitted with a heating or cooling system that is automatically controlled alongside the whole system via software. Based on all of the same features as the GDSTAS system, the main difference with the HPETAS system is the triaxial cell and the optional heating system. All of the same features apply for this system as for GDSTAS (stress paths, slow cyclic loading etc). The pressure & samples you will be testing determines the options available. The load frames range from 50kN to 1000kN and can hold cells for specimens from 38mm up to 300mm.The system can be run with cell and back pressures for standard triaxial testing using GDS pressure controllers. Or can be connected to high pressure gas lines (usually used for permeability testing). The ADVDPC controllers have pressure ranges of up to 150MPa.Fully Automated System.Compatible with most load frames.Automated Temperature control.Temperature Ranges: -20°C to 100°C.Can be adapted for gaseous back pressures such as Air, for CO2 or Nitrogen.When using high pressure gas lines additional flow meters can be fitted to the system which can also be logged using GDSLAB.
